About The Position

Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Data Entry & Office Specialist to join our team! JOB SUMMARY: This position provides support for the entire Occupational health /Employee Health Program and requires a passionate commitment of core values and behaviors. Responsibilities - answering phones, general secretarial duties to include coping/scanning/uploading documents, making claimant folders and follow ups to clinics and specialists. Requirements

  • Must be a high school graduate or an accredited secondary educational system.
  • Must have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite products (Word, Excel, & Outlook).
  • Knowledge of basic Workers Compensation and medical terminology is essential.
  • Must have a current driver’s license.
  • Must be familiar with computerized information systems and office equipment such as fax, copier, and scanning devices.
  • Must have the sensitivity, maturity, and ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • requires assessment and planning, calculation, analyzing, sorting, comparing, ability to prioritize, listening, decision making and reading comprehension.
  • Job tasks should be completed in a timely manner, and all deadlines met appropriately.
  • Anticipates/prepares for forthcoming problems and projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Workers Comp. and Medical Terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Answers phone calls appropriately and professionally.
  • Takes messages in full detail.
  • General secretarial duties to include filing, mailing documents, making claimant folders, copying/scanning/uploading documents, making claimant folders.
  • Responsible for communicating Drug Screen results and Physical ability to work forms to DER and faxing all appropriate paperwork to MRO.
  • Ensures Marketing material is plentiful at all times.
  • Responsible for ensuring follow ups for all clinics and specialists are done daily.
  • Updates all return mail contact information.
