About The Position

We are seeking a Data Entry Clerk to support loan servicing and loan operations within a banking environment. This role focuses on accurately entering, validating, and maintaining loan-related data across internal systems. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working in a high-volume, compliance-focused setting.

Requirements

  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry and validation
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and workflows
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion

Responsibilities

  • Enter and update loan and line-of-credit information into bank systems
  • Process routine loan transactions such as: Payment postings Payoff processing Autopay setup and changes Address and basic account updates
  • Validate loan data by comparing system records to source documentation
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare loan and line documentation for imaging and record retention
  • Track required loan documents and follow up on missing or outstanding items
  • Assist with title-related documentation tracking and duplicate document requests
  • Support Federal Reserve or internal loan pledging activities using established checklists
