About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Lockbox Data Entry Specialist to join our team. This role primarily focuses on accurately entering and verifying information from digital check images into the Busey system. The ideal candidate will have strong 10-key data entry skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment where precision and efficiency are essential.

Requirements

• Previous 10-key data entry experience (preferably in a financial services environment).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and verification.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a high-volume setting.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of retail banking or lockbox experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate data entry of check details (deposit amount, name verification, date, etc.) into the designated system.
• Verify information on digital copies of checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Sort and organize bulk mail deliveries into appropriate staging areas.
• Open incoming lockbox mail and process checks manually.
• Enter deposit amounts using 10-key data entry into the correct accounts.
• Operate automated mail-opening machines to process envelopes efficiently.
