About The Position

Build and maintain complex data models. Develop data visualizations and dashboards. Learn and apply data modeling and engineering principles. Build data pre-processing and report Automation tools in Snowflake, SQL and Python. Write extensive documentation for data models, especially your own projects. Participate in data storytelling projects, turning complex data sets into clear visualizations. Engage in self-driven learning to enhance skills in data analysis, modelling, and visualization. What We Offer: 12 - 18 month part-time internship with possible full-time offer upon graduation. Hands-on experience with industry-leading data modelling/visualization tools. Must be able to work 16 - 20 hours a week in the Springville, Utah Office.

Requirements

  • Basic ability to analyze data and deliver insights through data manipulation/visualization.
  • Be familiar with Programming concepts/languages.
  • Basic understanding of Python & SQL and willingness to learn more.
  • Self-motivated to learn new skills, identify problems, and create solutions.
  • A team player who can work well in a multi-role environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently in the junior or senior year of an undergraduate program in Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Python proficiency.
  • Familiarity with SQL and database management systems.
  • Experience with DBT, Snowflake, and Power BI.
  • Experience with concepts in physical security and government security clearances.
