What you will do: Contribute to the design and evolution of the data platform, ensuring reliability, cost efficiency, and scalability Implement and optimize high-performance data services and pipelines (Streaming) for large-scale workloads Support production operations for file- and event-based systems: monitoring, incident response (on-call), and continuous improvement to meet SLAs Participate in code and design reviews, promoting best practices in testing, security, and observability Collaborate with partner teams and internal customers to deliver end-to-end data products Help reduce technical debt and simplify systems with clean interfaces and consistent patterns This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Requirements

8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience.

Nice To Haves

Experienced in building distributed systems at scale.
Experience with Golang or Python and SQL.
Experience with Cloud computing (Azure/AWS) and hybrid architecture.
Experience with Stream processing and data platform tools (Flink, Serverless, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow).
Experience with Observability and reliability tools such as Grafana, CloudWatch, on-call, SLA awareness.
Experience with Version control and CI/CD tooling such as Git/GitHub, pipelines (e.g., Codefresh).

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design and evolution of the data platform, ensuring reliability, cost efficiency, and scalability
Implement and optimize high-performance data services and pipelines (Streaming) for large-scale workloads
Support production operations for file- and event-based systems: monitoring, incident response (on-call), and continuous improvement to meet SLAs

Collaborate with partner teams and internal customers to deliver end-to-end data products
