About The Position

GENERAL OVERVIEW Creates, retrieves, copies, maintains and performs data entry of all transplant patient and donor information. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Completes documentation of patient case history, lab values and diagnostic testing into transplant database for CTCs and transplant physician's review. (35%) Locates lab values, testing and medical records on assigned patients for review by CTCs and Transplant physicians. Alerts CTCs with any lab results out of established, written parameters. (30%) Prepares patient charts prior to all clinic visits, surgical procedures or any outpatient procedure. Enters data from all inpatient and outpatient visits/procedures into the transplant database. (15%) Schedules surgical and diagnostic procedures, including precertification. (10%) Writes correspondence. (10%) Performs other duties as assigned or required. QUALIFICATIONS Preferred Experience working with various computer software programs, medical terminology, basic anatomy. At least 1 year experience in medical setting preferred.
