This role is ideal for someone who can take ownership of complex technical challenges, drive solutions end‑to‑end, and contribute to building scalable, high‑performance applications.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Java (JDK 11 and above)
  • Hands‑on experience with AWS Cloud (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, or similar)
  • Expertise in API development and microservices
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in performance tuning
  • Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
  • Experience with bash scripting for automation
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure‑as‑code
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based applications using JDK 11+
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services
  • Develop cloud‑ready applications and integrations using AWS services
  • Write efficient, high‑quality SQL queries and work with relational databases
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver features from concept to deployment
  • Use Git and version control best practices to manage codebases
  • Write and maintain bash scripts for automation and operational tasks
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across development and production environments
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
