Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical systems
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Comfortable working in mission-critical environments

  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in technical field
  • Entry-level experience in data center or critical facilities
  • Familiarity with UPS, generators, HVAC, or structured cabling

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine monitoring of data center systems including power, cooling, and environmental conditions
  • Conduct scheduled facility walkthroughs and inspections, documenting findings and escalating abnormalities
  • Monitor alarms and alerts through BMS, EPMS, and DCIM platforms
  • Assist with shift handovers and operational logs
  • Support basic electrical and mechanical tasks under supervision
  • Assist with UPS, generator, ATS/STS, and HVAC monitoring
  • Support IT equipment racking and cabling activities
  • Assist senior technicians with preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Follow approved MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs
  • Manage work orders in CMMS systems
  • Follow LOTO, PPE, and electrical safety procedures
  • Participate in safety training and incident reviews
  • Maintain accurate logs and inspection records
  • Escalate issues following site protocols
  • Participate in training and qualification programs
  • Develop understanding of redundancy and risk management
