Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and strategic Data Center Procurement Professional to join our Global Procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end sourcing and supplier management for data center equipment Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) across North America. You will act as a foundational leader, transitioning the organization from a fragmented, site-based model to a centralized, best-in-class global category function that drives measurable Operational Expenditure (OpEx) and Capital Expenditure (CapEx) efficiency. You will join a high-visibility team currently pivoting toward a global category focus, acting as a key partner to our well-established Real Estate and Facilities Engineering groups to foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management within a Fortune 500 environment, specifically supporting mission-critical operations like data centers or industrial facilities.
  • Advanced expertise in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) modeling and contract negotiation, including the ability to manage complex Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Proven ability in stakeholder management and vendor consolidation, with the executive presence to influence site leaders and technical teams in a complex, multinational environment.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Professional in Supply Management or similar certification is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Category Strategy & Execution: Build and execute a multi-year category strategy for data center equipment MRO and service contracts across North America, establishing supplier segmentation and a clear savings roadmap.
  • Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation: Lead competitive sourcing events and negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) to standardize rate cards, warranties, and escalation terms.
  • Operational Performance Management: Partner with Data Center site leaders to implement preventive maintenance programs and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards that reduce equipment downtime and total lifecycle costs.
