About The Position

The Data Center Network Infrastructure Project Manager acts as the primary representative for the Owner, overseeing projects from early design through procurement, construction, and final handover. The role is centered on ensuring that telecom and infrastructure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet the team's strict quality and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Technical & Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction management, design documents, building codes, and data center-specific infrastructure (telecom/fiber focus).
  • Financial Acumen: Proficiency in cost analysis, cash flow projections, and managing complex project budgets and supplier claims.
  • Tool Mastery: Ability to use internal systems such as FLUX, Talos, Buganizer, Rightcrowd, and GUTS for tracking tickets, risks, and site access. (may be new to the candidate which is completely okay and can be learned)
  • High-Level Reporting: Experience producing weekly Management Reports and accurately updating site-level progress trackers.
  • Risk Management: Skill in identifying potential threats to safety, quality, budget, or schedule and maintaining an active Risk Log.
  • Schedule Adherence: Meeting project timelines.
  • Budget Adherence: Staying within financial targets.
  • Material Delivery: Ensuring timelines for essential goods are met.
  • Reporting Accuracy: Providing high-quality stakeholder updates on time.
  • Data Integrity: Maintaining timely updates and closures in Buganizer and Talos.
  • For roles that require on-site presence or travel between work locations as an essential function of the position, candidates must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license appropriate for the role and be eligible to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a professional work environment, including preparing written reports and documentation, conveying information clearly to team members, clients, and stakeholders, and responding appropriately to verbal and written communications related to job duties.
  • Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, twist, bend, and climb stairs or ladders for extended periods while navigating uneven, unpaved, or obstructed terrain.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Must be able to drive between job sites and access all areas of an active construction zone, including raised platforms, scaffolding, and confined spaces.
  • Must be able to tolerate exposure to outdoor weather conditions, dust, and construction-related noise, vibrations, and odors.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and site personnel, and maintain situational awareness in high-activity environments.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety vests, hearing protection, and steel-toe boots, is required.
  • Must have sufficient visual acuity to read drawings, specifications, and safety signage, and to observe site activity.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Project Management: Facilitates communication between internal partners (like DCNet and DCS), manages daily routines, and resolves project escalations to meet Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
  • Project Controls & Finance: Proactively manages project risks, audits budget and schedule data, reviews supplier invoices, and performs monthly financial reconciliations (actualization).
  • Procurement & Contract Management: Oversees the bidding process (bid leveling), manages Owner Furnished Material (OFCI) logistics, and tracks workflows from Statement of Work (SOW) creation to Purchase Order (PO) issuance.
  • Field & Design Oversight: Reviews design documents for constructability, performs weekly safety walks (BOTG), and manages on-site supplier performance against milestones.
  • Quality & Closeout: Implements QA/QC processes (NetQA), oversees testing and commissioning (Cx), manages the project punch list, and facilitates the final handover to the operations team.
