About The Position

What this Job Entails: The CAD Technician II will be responsible for supporting a global organization of mechanical, electrical and environmental engineers, construction professionals, project managers and site operations experts who plan, build, and Data Center Program Managers. Scope: Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues Works on problems of moderate scope Receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new projects Your Roles and Responsibilities: Assist the team with drawing updates as required. Test CAD applications. Perform CAD length calculations and quality checks. Perform quality checks on current and future tools. Collaborate with various teams to deploy components. Assist in developing procedures for future client IT deployments. Develop data center, network or lab cable tray designs. Support and backup team Project Managers. Other duties as required. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 2 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Builds productive internal and external working relationships
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
  • Understanding of complex spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work with a geographically diverse team.
  • Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of at least two of the following: server hardware and software, network hardware and software, data center infrastructure and operations, mechanical and electrical systems.
