Align is a white space fit-out specialist delivering end-to-end data center construction across the U.S. Our services include layout/design, overhead support systems (cable pathways and electrical), power distribution and redundancy planning (PDU to cabinet), conduit pathways, and low voltage structured cabling infrastructure. We are seeking a Data Center Construction Project Manager to lead the build-out of electrical and mechanical distribution from upstream critical equipment through to compute, storage, and network infrastructure. This is a field-driven role - onsite daily - owning execution, coordinating trades, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. This is a full-time salaried position offering competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, paid training, and performance-based bonuses. This position is based in the Atlanta Metro area and will work on site for local data center projects. Approximately 50% overnight travel outside of the Atlanta area should be expected at times.

Requirements

5+ years of construction management experience (data center or mission critical preferred)
Experience managing large, complex MEP projects
Strong GC/vendor management (RFPs, bidding, change orders, QC, documentation)
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings/specs across disciplines
Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and building codes
Strong communication and documentation skills
Willingness to travel as needed

Nice To Haves

Data center or critical infrastructure experience
Understanding of electrical/mechanical systems and power distribution
Experience with power monitoring/management systems
Value engineering mindset
Certifications such as PE, LEED, or CCM

Responsibilities

Own project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and delivery for data center construction projects
Act as the on-site lead coordinating general contractors, subcontractors, and trades
Manage projects through bidding, award, execution, punch list, and closeout
Track schedules, identify risks, manage changes, and communicate with clients
Drive QA/QC in the field and enforce Align and client standards
Oversee construction documentation (RFIs, submittals, change orders, invoicing)
Resolve scope gaps and field issues; lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
Report on key construction metrics to internal teams and leadership
