About The Position

Working very closely with the Data Center Operations Manager, the Data Center America Lead is in charge of the following activities: • Manage daily operations of Atlanta and Suwanee Data Centers to ensure high availability, performance, and security. • Manage security functions, monitoring and updating security access for both Data Centers. • Manage daily/nightly operations team for both Metro and Suwanee data centers in Atlanta, GA. • Support and put in motion the physical space planning for both data centers and responsible for DC schematics for all equipment layouts and installations. • Make recommendations for entities space and capacity planning. • Manage security vendor for all internal physical security hardware and their regular maintenance. Manage all camera installs to cover entire suite (over 70 cameras per site). • Manage QTS (DC provider) for overall physical security of the site and their building maintenance schedule (monthly testing for suite alarms/underfloor motion sensors, biweekly DC meeting with account rep etc.). • Consult and plan with vendors on different activities related to management of 3rd party services with the DC (ex. IBM, Cisco, NetApp, Lenovo, Curvature, Innovative Technology Services, etc.) • Manage the power and utilities consumption for both Data Centers. Ensure consumption data is available and accurate. • Manage and custom-design the workflow for physical asset management in the data center • Manage the shipping and receiving process of equipment into and out of the Atlanta data centers • Manage and overview all DC scripts to ensure quality of service (QoS) remains at a high level for the Data Centers. • Manage the compliance and regulatory requirements for physical security for both Atlanta Metro and Suwanee Data Centers and report to the Data Center Operations manager. We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills: Expert Hardware/Software Technical Skills to Implement and Manage a Data Center: o Network/Telecom, Storage, Servers • Expert knowledge of Physical Security Operations in DC Facilities o Physical Layer (Cameras, Infrared Beams, Sensors) o Auditing (Access, Biometric, SOX) o Site Access (Entry/Exit) • Expert Facility Engineering Knowledge (Electric & HVAC) • DCIM (QTS or Sunbird dcTrack experience is a plus) and Space Planning tools (Structural space, dimensions) • Manage the physical assets, change requests, incidents, and problems while ensuring IT services continuity and Digital sustainability • Vendor Management Responsibilities o Support in contract management (in collaboration with other teams such as Procurement) o Control and reporting Data Center urbanization, Data Center SHE providers operations in DC as part of the service request / change execution and incident resolution o Apply compliance AXA GO guidelines and reporting Data Center operations delivering proof of compliancy (covering audit topics) • Data Center Change Management Policies, Processes execution and Procedures • Expertise in Racking, Stacking & Cabling Technology • Financial Budgeting and Reporting (PeopleSoft tools) • Procurement & Delivery Processes & Procedures (COUPA experience appreciated) • Tool deployment supervision (Sunbird dcTrack & PowerIQ) • Ability to manage complex documentation • Quality of Service (QOS) & Superior Customer Service Skills • General Understanding of Project Management Methodologies • Able to Manage Multiple Sites and Multi-Tasking Abilities • Staff/People Management and Ability to Lead and Delegate Responsibilities • Contribute to continuous improvement by detecting and formalizing friction and pain points in BAU operations • Handle the relation between his local Data Center Team and the local PSS stakeholders • Fluent in English
