About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Manager, CCM Data Engineering - REMOTE. In this critical role, you will support the Continuous Controls Monitoring (CCM) team by ensuring the integrity and accuracy of compliance-related data. Your expertise will drive effective data management and governance strategies, aligning with both internal policies and relevant regulatory frameworks. As part of a forward-thinking technology team, your contributions will directly impact how data quality is maintained and utilized for security and compliance initiatives. You will leverage modern big data platforms to enhance data oversight and empower cross-functional partnerships, ensuring that our compliance reporting is robust and reliable.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of cybersecurity and data management experience.
  • Working knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality Management, Snowflake, Databricks, and SQL.
  • Strong communication skills for conveying technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to present complex information to senior leadership effectively.
  • Experience leading distributed teams and managing people.
  • High autonomy and decision-making capabilities.
  • Capable of thriving in high-pressure environments with shifting priorities.
  • Attention to detail and strong troubleshooting skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in Big 4 or auditing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the management and oversight of compliance-related data assets, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Perform data access and validation using Snowflake and Databricks to back compliance initiatives.
  • Enforce data governance and privacy policies in line with regulatory and corporate standards.
  • Conduct data validation and quality checks to identify compliance issues.
  • Prepare and document data for compliance audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Maintain data documentation including data dictionaries and standard operating procedures.
  • Support ingestion and validation of data from various sources including cloud platforms and APIs.
  • Utilize SQL for querying and validating compliance-related data.
  • Collaborate with compliance, legal, and data engineering teams to support compliance goals.
  • Report data quality or compliance risks and recommend corrective actions as needed.
