We build applications to enable surgeons, nurses, and hospital administrators to deliver the highest quality care. This is a long-term, part-time opportunity designed for individuals seeking consistent, flexible secondary work. While you’ll gain valuable experience working with cutting-edge AI in healthcare, the role is intentionally focused in scope and not intended as a stepping stone to full-time or expanded responsibilities. All applicants need to reside in the US, have reliable internet connection, and a private space to complete their work. We are targeting a start date of 2/9 for this role, with a preference for applicants who are open to working Thursday through Sunday, and/or shifts scheduled during evening hours based on Eastern Time (ET). In this role you'll: Use Apella’s internal tools to annotate surgical workflows and objects within operating room videos. Build your understanding of machine learning systems and develop a growing knowledge of surgical environments to inform your work. Work closely with our team to refine workflows and provide feedback on ways to improve our tools and processes.
