About The Position

Kraus-Anderson is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data & Technology Intern to support our growing data, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience working with enterprise data, analytics tools, and cross-functional teams to drive business insights across construction and real estate operations. This internship is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields who are eager to apply their skills in a real-world business environment.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
Foundational knowledge of:
SQL and Python
Data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Demonstrated interest in data, technology, and business applications

Nice To Haves

Exposure to data platforms such as SQL, Snowflake, DeataBricks, etc.
Familiarity with project management concepts or agile methodologies
Experience working with real-world datasets or internship experience
Interest in applying technology within industries such as construction, real estate, or operations

Responsibilities

Assist in data collection, transformation, and visualization to support business decision-making
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI
Support data engineering tasks, including working with structured and unstructured data
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, operations, project management) to understand data needs
Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups and sprint reviews
Contribute to automation and innovation initiatives, including AI or voice-enabled tools
Document processes and help improve data workflows and data quality practices
