About The Position

The University of Arkansas – Pulaski Technical College in North Little Rock, Arkansas, is accepting applications for a Data and Reporting Specialist. University of Arkansas – Pulaski Technical College provides access to high-quality education that promotes student learning and enables individuals to develop to their fullest potential. This is a grant-funded position for three years that will work with a variety of applications to produce reliable, accurate, and dependable information to assist the college in making data-informed recommendations on matters including student success and program viability. General Responsibilities: • Utilize data preparation and query applications to extract, compile, analyze, interpret, and communicate complex data-related issues clearly and succinctly to various audiences • Performs querying, data extraction, analysis and reporting on assigned data topics • Analyze workforce data to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of grant reporting requirements • Collaborates with stakeholders on data and technical needs • Assures the confidentiality of data, including sensitive information related to students, faculty, and staff

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in an appropriate area of specialization, with emphasis in data analytics and/or information management
  • Advanced experience working with large datasets in Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and analytical capabilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team toward common goals, and to coordinate efforts and collaborate with a variety of individuals

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated track record of compiling and presenting data for grants
  • Experience working with State or Federal Workforce agencies
