The Manager of Data & Analytics, Donor Services is responsible for the day-to-day management, accuracy, and usability of donor and fundraising data across all development activities. This role directly oversees gift processing and data entry operations, ensures high standards of data quality and timeliness, and produces reliable reporting and analysis to support fundraising strategy, financial reconciliation, and leadership decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, information systems, nonprofit management, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with donor databases or CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) in a nonprofit or fundraising environment.
  • 1 year of managing a team.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing gift processing and donor data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and internal controls.
  • Experience supervising staff and managing day-to-day operational workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience building reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise all gift processing and data entry functions, including staff oversight, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of gifts, pledges, and adjustments in Salesforce across all fundraising channels.
  • Establish and maintain data quality standards, validation procedures, and quality assurance checks.
  • Conduct routine audits to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Partner with Finance to support accurate monthly reconciliation of donor and gift data.
  • Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc reports and dashboards to track fundraising performance, donor engagement, and campaign results.
  • Analyze donor behavior, pipeline activity, and revenue trends to generate actionable insights.
  • Translate data into clear, strategic recommendations to inform fundraising decisions and performance improvement.
  • Provide data insights, prospect lists, and analysis to support donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.
  • Collaborate with development staff to identify reporting and data needs aligned with fundraising goals.
  • Partner with the CRM Specialist to ensure Salesforce configurations, integrations, and workflows support accurate processing and reporting.
  • Document and continuously improve data management and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and usability.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on fundraising data, reporting tools, and analytics.
  • Ensure data practices align with organizational goals and industry best practices.

  • Pay Transparency: The salary range for this position is $75,800-$102,500. The final rate may be influenced by factors such as the position's scope and responsibilities, work experience, training, job-related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
