We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Analytics Manager to join our Data Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the execution and operational delivery of a team of data analysts responsible for transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that support effective decision-making. Working in close partnership with the Director of Data Services, this role implements established analytics strategy, standards, and priorities while collaborating with customers, internal Bitfocus teams, and other stakeholders to ensure analytical solutions are accurate, relevant, and aligned to organizational goals. Core responsibilities include overseeing and operationalizing the analytics lifecycle from requirements gathering and business interpretation to implementing analytical models, dashboards, and reports, validating data, and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery. A key focus of this role is improving efficiency through automations, standardized workflows, and quality controls that reduce manual effort and improve delivery timelines. This role provides direct people leadership to the analytics team, setting expectations, managing capacity, and supporting strong analytical practices. Success in this position requires strong operational leadership, clear communication, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful narratives that drive measurable impact across Bitfocus and the HMIS community. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a closely related quantitative field. A master’s degree in a relevant area is a strong plus.
  • At least 8+ years of progressive relevant experience working within a data-intensive environment (IT/Data Analytics/Reporting), including a minimum of 3+ years in a formal people leadership role managing direct reports.
  • A solid understanding of data systems, including data relationships and data modeling, with the ability to quickly learn and understand various data environments.
  • Proven excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven planning and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Looker, including the ability to write complex queries and stored procedures to retrieve and manipulate data from various data sources.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Lead and develop the Analytics team, establishing clear roles, expectations, workflows, and performance standards. Drive operational maturity through documentation, prioritization frameworks, capacity planning, and continuous improvement. Partner closely with the Director to operationalize strategy, identify gaps, and reduce single points of failure across the analytics function.
  • Automation & Efficiency: Lead the identification and implementation of automation opportunities across analytics workflows, including data validation report generation, QA processes, and recurring deliverables. Establish repeatable, documented processes that reduce manual effort, increase reliability, and improve team efficiency.
  • Analytics Oversight: Oversee analytic initiatives, ensuring data accuracy, interpretability, and alignment with standards. This role will define project scope, timelines, and deliverables while coordinating cross-functional teams to align analytics efforts with organizational objectives.
  • Collaboration: Serve as a bridge between analytics, data integrations, product, and customer-facing teams, ensuring insights and data-driven solutions are seamlessly integrated into business processes. Actively engage with stakeholders to understand their needs, provide guidance on data interpretation, and facilitate collaborative problem-solving to drive informed decision-making and deliver measurable value.
  • Database Tools: Demonstrate an excellent understanding of database management concepts, knowledge of data security tools/solutions, and proficiency in SQL, BI tools, Looker, and other data analysis tools. This includes maintaining and updating tools necessary for data analytics, such as standard operating procedures, support and maintenance plans, quality assurance processes, training plans, and data management processes.
  • Clarity Human Services Analysis: Manage analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and adherence to standards. Balance analytics work with resource project constraints, providing subject matter expertise and guidance to stakeholders. Represents analytics perspectives in cross-functional discussions and supports leadership with clear, actionable insights related to HMIS data and analysis.
  • Other Projects: Complete ad-hoc projects as assigned to support team and operational objectives.
