About The Position

This Financial Data Analyst Internship will be assisting our data modernization and finance transformation journey by migrating legacy excel models and reports into automated Power BI dashboards. You will partner with our plant finance leaders and bridge the gaps between our SAP operational data, AWS Redshift data store and OneStream finance management platform to streamline reporting and eliminate manual workflows.

Mission: Turn complex, fragmented data into high-speed, interactive visual insights that drive manufacturing efficiency.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Finance, Information Technology, Data Analytics or related field.
• 1+ Years of work or prior internship experience
• Experienced with Power BI (DAX, Power Query), Excel and SQL.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with AWS Redshift, OneStream and understanding of SAP table structures would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to visualize key financial and operational KPIs in Power BI.
• Extract and transform data from AWS Redshift using Power Query and SQL to create robust PBI data models.
• Assist in automating weekly flashes and month-end close processes and data reconciliation with OneStream.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to translate complex business needs into technical reporting specifications.
• Perform rigorous testing and validation to ensure data integrity between SAP, Redshift, OneStream and final Power BI outputs.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring financial reports, reduce manual data pulls and increase efficiency.
