Consultants work closely with clients to optimize their value streams by delivering value via products and services to their customers. Consulting interns get involved with clients in projects such as the analysis, design, and implementation of Business Intelligence systems, creating compelling dashboards, utilizing data visualization tools, assisting with data collection and organization, and supporting client data management needs. They also engage in business analysis and project management for industry software solutions in sectors like Insurance, Health Care, Construction, and Manufacturing, while proactively enhancing their skills through training and learning opportunities.
Requirements
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Science, Business Analytics, or other related field of study
- Above average class performance as demonstrated by college GPA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build and foster professional business relationships
- Desire to help companies maximize value by leveraging technology and process improvement
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Wipfli will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B status)
Nice To Haves
- Preferred 3.0 GPA or higher
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools like Python, R, or SQL preferred
- Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik) preferred
Responsibilities
- Analysis, design and implementation of Business Intelligence systems, enabling our clients to turn data into meaningful information to better serve critical business decisions
- Create compelling dashboards to communicate insights effectively
- Utilize tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik and other for data visualization projects
- Assist in the collection and organization of datasets from various sources
- Alongside senior mentors assist with client data management needs
- Business analysis and project management associated with industry software solutions in Insurance, Health Care, Construction and Manufacturing organizations
- Proactively engage in training and learning opportunities to enhance your related skills
