Power BI Report Development: Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business functions within the training and organizational development departments.
Data Preparation and Transformation: Assist in cleaning, transforming, and modeling data using Power Query and DAX to ensure accurate and efficient reporting. This includes updating hardcoded metrics, managing dataflows, and preparing datasets for visualization
Data Validation and Quality Assurance: Validate data against business rules and ensure consistency across reports. This includes checking for missing values, verifying calculations, and ensuring alignment with source systems
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with departments such as Data Analytics, Manufacturing, Retail, Product Development and Corporate roles, to gather requirements, understand data needs, and support ongoing analytics initiatives
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain documentation for Power BI reports, data sources, and processes.
Support Data Governance Initiatives: Participate in efforts related to data stewardship, data cataloging, and Power BI governance. This includes helping with report authorization, workspace management, and compliance tracking
User Support and Training: Provide support to end users by answering questions, troubleshooting report issues, and helping them navigate Power BI dashboards. May also assist in onboarding new users or co-ops
Project Participation: Contribute to larger data projects such as system migrations, data platform upgrades, analytics strategy development, or research on implementing new tools into Org Development work.
Professional Development: Engage in learning opportunities such as LMS modules, Power BI upskilling sessions, and mentorship from senior analysts. Co-ops are encouraged to grow into subject matter experts over time

Requirements

• This position requires participation in a Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or Statistics Program.
• Incumbent should be at least a sophomore (or entering their sophomore year) and have classroom experience in Marketing, statistics and/or data analytics.
