About The Position

We’re looking for a savvy, business-minded Data Analytics Co-op who thrives at the intersection of data, business, and strategy. You’ll play a role in transforming our gold-layer data assets into actionable insights by designing semantic models, building compelling Power BI visuals, and steering data engineering efforts. This role is perfect for someone who can bridge business requirements with data products — turning questions into answers and ideas into dashboards.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Familiarity with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, semantic modeling, visualization best practices).
  • Familiarity with data modeling principles (star schemas, fact/dimension structures, semantic layers).
  • Familiarity with SQL and/or data engineering concepts.
  • Ability to interpret business requirements, connect the dots, and communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to partner with engineers, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Familiarity working in medallion/lakehouse architectures (Bronze → Silver → Gold).
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Translate Business Needs: Engage with stakeholders across business functions to understand requirements and translate them into well-structured data products.
  • Model & Visualize: Design, build, and maintain semantic models on gold-layer data, delivering Power BI dashboards and reports that drive decision-making.
  • Data Architecture Partnership: Collaborate with data engineers to influence and guide gold-layer data strategies, ensuring analytics-ready structures and efficient pipelines.
  • Quality & Consistency: Ensure data models and visuals adhere to best practices, maintaining consistency, scalability, and clarity across the organization.
  • Insight Generation: Proactively analyze data trends, uncover insights, and provide recommendations that impact business strategies.
  • Stakeholder Enablement: Educate and enable business users to get the most out of analytics products through documentation, demos, and Q&A sessions.
