Our work depends on a Data Analyst joining our team to develop customer reports and dashboards, perform deep dive analytics, support testing databases and data integration solutions, and deliver customer solutions. The TSS Data and Analytics team uses a variety of tools including Azure and Azure DevOps, AWS, and Power BI. The Power BI dashboards provide performance, operational, and management-level dashboards to customers, allowing them to manage risk and provide the essential reporting. Requirements

  • Education: BA/BS (or equivalent years of experience)
  • Required Experience: 2+ years of experience
  • Required Clearance: Must possess an active Secret clearance
  • Required Technical Skill: SQL, Power BI or related business intelligence tools/practices, Excel, Power Query
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Strong SQL background, familiarity with database ETL functions
  • Strong Excel background; familiarity with other Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities
  • Good team player, able to manage multiple assignments, and adapt to changing client needs
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present to business leaders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • US Citizenship Required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with reporting via ServiceNow, Remedy, BMC Helix, CUIC, Verint
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and define industry best practices for decision-making
  • Creating, refining, and delivering reports and dashboards for executives, management, and technician-level usage
  • Execute extract, transform, and load (ETL) functions along with maintaining and analyzing database tables and views
  • Develop and maintain Structured Query Language (SQL) scripts to support business data analysis and reporting
  • Utilize Power BI, excel, and/or other business intelligence tools
  • Provide data analytics and key insights
  • Highlight and define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure performance across different sections
  • Collaborate with a team of developers, analysts, and engineers to determine feature requests, priorities, dashboards, and solutions
  • Composing user stories, acceptance criteria, test plans, and retrospectives to improve Agile development processes
  • Performing Quality Assurance (QA) testing of new features to ensure that requirements are met, and the resulting user experience works as intended
  • Participating in and supporting user acceptance testing and the deployment of the solution to production
  • Preparing and conducting presentations and training materials
  • Creating and maintaining documentation
  • Collaborate with a team of developers, analysts, and engineers to deliver on-time Agile sprint releases
