About The Position

The Data Analyst plays a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making across the organization. Requirements

Master’s degree in computer/data science or engineering/Information technology or related minimum three (3) years of hands-on data architecture, relational, dimensional, and/or analytic data modeling experience (using RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL data platform technologies)
Bachelor’s degree in computer/data science or engineering/Information technology or related minimum five (5) years of hands-on data architecture, relational, dimensional, and/or analytic data modeling experience (using RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL data platform technologies)
Equivalent combination of education and experience, with a minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in data architecture, modeling, and engineering roles
Advance data modeling and architecture
Advance knowledge of hybrid enterprise data lake houses, master data and data warehouse concepts and applications.
Advanced data modeling and architecture design, including expertise in:
Relational database modeling
Dimensional modeling for data warehouses
NoSQL database modeling
DataLlake and Lakehouse architectures
Proficiency in modern data warehouse platforms such as:
Snowflake
Databricks
Amazon Redshift
Google BigQuery
Azure Synapse Analytics
Experience with cloud-based data architectures and services on major cloud platforms:
Microsoft Fabric
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Microsoft Azure
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with various SQL dialects (e.g., T-SQL, PL/SQL, SparkSQL).
Strong understanding of data governance, data privacy, and data security principles, including:
Data lineage
Metadata management
Data cataloging
Data masking and encryption techniques
Release cycles and modern software development standards.
Advance knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous development concepts
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for data solutions
Understanding of data virtualization technologies and federated query engines
Knowledge of machine learning and AI concepts, and their implications for data architecture
Experience with API design and management for data services
Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) as they apply to data architecture
Ability to work cross organization and build relationships with other team players, business partners, and stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work in a team and collaborative environment.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, service requests.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work independently and mentor other developers.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be customer service oriented to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Collect, clean, prepare and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability
Perform complex data analysis using advance statistical methods, algorithms and techniques
Identify trends, patterns, and correlations within large datasets
Interpret data analysis results to provide actionable insights
Design and create comprehensive reports and dashboards using tools, such as Power BI
Develop clear, concise, and visually appealing presentations of data findings
Maintain and update regular reports for different departments and stakeholders
Work closely with business units to understand their data needs and objectives
Translate business requirements into analytical frameworks and data models
Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making
Apply statistical techniques to analyze data and test hypotheses
Develop predictive models to forecast trends and outcomes
Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to optimize processes and strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and share insights
Communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively
Provide training and support to colleagues on data analysis tools and techniques
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data analysis
Recommend and implement new tools and methodologies to improve data analysis processes
Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements
Manage multiple data analysis projects simultaneously
Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Document processes, methodologies, and findings for future reference
Approach complex business problems with analytical and creative thinking
Develop innovative solutions using data-driven insights
Troubleshoot data discrepancies and resolve analytical challenges
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business and customer data
Advocate for responsible and ethical use of data within the organization
