About The Position

Data Analyst The Opportunity: The Data Analyst applies their technical and analytical capab ilities to support key business and security objectives. This role involves working with stakeholders to clarify requirements, developing and maintaining analytical models, and transforming data into actionable insights. You will leverage your skills as a problem-solver, including working both independently and collaboratively to contribute to projects that enhance organizational efficiency and support threat mitigation programs. How You’ll Contribute: Develop data analytics and visualizations by applying proven, industry-standard data science principles and techniques. Create and edit visual content, including charts, graphs, and dashboards, to transform quantitative and qualitative data sets into compelling and understandable visuals. Collaborate with project requestors, stakeholders, and project managers to refine project requests and clarify business needs and objectives. Use data analytics to form business insights, identify issues, and recommend effective ways to boost organizational efficiency. Integrate, develop, and maintain analytic models, visualizations, and tools designed to deter, detect, and mitigate threat s. Support the sustainment of risk scoring tools and other data analysis implementations by identifying and helping to resolve system errors and failures. Work closely with subject matter experts to learn about specific products and processes. Support the preparation of reports and briefs on analyses and dashboard functionality for various internal teams. Capture, maintain, and accumulate statistics that show quantities and timelines for key processes, such as data transfers between domains, to support system integrity and performance monitoring. Assist in supporting Policy Business Operations, including policy analysis, review, and coordination. Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a Geospatial Information Systems tool such as ArcView, ArcGIS, Remote View, ArcIMS, ERDAS Imagine, Remote View, ERDAS Imagine, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Fireworks, Photoshop, HTML, or FrameMaker
  • Experience in integrating, developing, and maintaining analytic models, visualizations, and tools
  • Experience coding to support writing scripts with tools such as Java and Python.
  • Experience using SharePoint, Tableau, Redmine, and systems or databases to manipulate and build data visualization
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Data Science, Statistics, or Business field and 6+ years of experience in data analysis or visualization, OR 10+ years of experience in data analysis or visualization in lieu of degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in integrating, developing, and maintaining analytic models, visualizations, and tools in a security or threat-detection context prefer red
  • Experience supporting threat , risk scoring, or similar security- focus ed analytics programs
  • Experience with policy analysis or process improvement initiatives
  • Experience with GEOINT analysis sof tware
