About The Position

Being data-driven is more than a buzzword at Equativ, it is our mission. The Analytics team maximizes efficiency by providing seamless access to high-quality data and strategic insights. We ensure our internal teams and external partners are equipped to make informed business decisions. To do so, we leverage massive data volumes (250B+ daily auctions) through a state-of-the-art tech stack (Snowflake, Tableau, Google Cloud Platform, Airflow) to deliver actionable intelligence across the entire Equativ ecosystem. As a Data Analyst, you will report to the Americas Analytics Lead, and join a global team of 10+ Analytics professionals across New York, Montréal, London, and Paris. Requirements

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in an analytical role
  • Technically Proficient: Practical experience with SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, and visualization tools like Tableau (or similar reporting tools)
  • Natural Problem Solver: You are curious, love solving problems and forming recommendations, and want to develop your autonomy and expertise
  • Excellent Communicator: You can present insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborative Mindset: Equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team to drive the business forward
  • Organized & Diligent: Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Language Skills: Fully fluent in English

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Business Health: Proactively monitor global performance, flag anomalies, and propose corrective actions before they impact the bottom line.
  • Drive Revenue via Insights: Conduct analysis and investigations into performance to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Build & Design: Create high-impact analytical resources such as dashboards, reports, alerting systems, and investigation tools.
  • Training & Adoption: Act as a liaison between the analytics team and our business stakeholders in the US+Canada. You will educate stakeholders and train them on how to leverage our resources, making them more autonomous.
  • Push Us Forward: Keep Equativ ahead of the curve in data and adtech. We want you to bring creative solutions to the table: such as leveraging AI to automate manual reporting, or finding smarter ways to streamline processes.
  • Strategic Advisory: Move beyond just "providing data" to becoming a consultant for the North American teams, helping them understand the why behind the numbers, align on their needs, and understand their pain points.
  • Relationship Management: Exchange with your internal customers and the rest of the analytics team on a regular basis in order to understand their current priorities
  • Driving Adoption: Ensure proper adoption of the metrics and tools with an internal “go to market strategy” (testing phase, communication, training sessions, continuous optimization…)
