Job Description: Data Analyst Job Description: Location: Camp Smith, HI Clearance Needed: TS/SCI Are you ready to leverage your data analysis and artificial intelligence experience to work on complex projects supporting a critical mission in the Indo-Pacific region? The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter, capable of working across multiple staff sections to collect, manage, and analyze disparate datasets to combat drug-related transnational crime using cutting-edge AI methodologies.

Requirements

  • 2+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; will consider experience in lieu of degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling for data analysis
  • Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Ability to synthesize disparate data from multiple sources into coherent reports/documents
  • Ability to work independently while responding promptly to requests for information
  • Adaptability in a dynamic work environment; ability to manage changing priorities effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to proofread, edit, and finalize products for senior leader briefings and external organizations
  • Valid US Passport
  • Active DoD TS security clearance with SCI eligibility

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting USINDOPACOM intelligence or operations
  • Previous experience supporting DoD, counter-drug, and law enforcement missions
  • Familiarity with Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE)
  • Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques for analyzing unstructured text data.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with client staff, managers, and other leaders to help strategically plan, develop, analyze, and represent information in support of mission objectives.
  • Use, modify, and tailor mission partner assessment tools (e.g., Command and Control of the Information Environment - C2IE)
  • Verify data for validity to ensure accurate analytic results and apply a wide range of analytical data-mining techniques to produce accurate data sets
  • Coordinate with operational technical experts in support of assessments with high visibility, unusual urgency, or program criticality
  • Develop, create, and execute data solutions across the client's portfolio; utilize SharePoint, Microsoft products, and information sharing databases to share and collaborate findings with internal and external partners.
  • Develop, train, and deploy machine learning (ML) models to identify patterns, anomalies, and predictive indicators of transnational criminal activities within large datasets.
