About The Position
At TabaPay, the Insights Team is responsible for identifying data-driven opportunities that deliver high impact business results for our stakeholders and clients. Our mission is to empower our clients to improve their customer growth and satisfaction rates by offering them top notch analytics services. We are dedicated to creating a broad range of data-driven solutions designed to meet our clients’ needs. We are transforming our wealth of unique data into impactful services for our clients. As a Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in using data to solve problems for our clients and presenting data in a digestible way to cross-functional stakeholders. This unique role will deliver actionable insights to clients, perform deep dive financial cost savings assessments, and own a portfolio of AI/ML initiatives to support our AI Product goals. We are looking for forward-thinkers who are eager to make an impact and ready to help our clients in their digital and data journeys. We are designing the next generation of reporting and analytics tools for TabaPay to empower our customers with strategic insights. This role will report to the Insights Team Lead.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, IMS or similar. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a data analytics or data modeling role
- Ability to “go deep” with the data and identify the root causes of underlying patterns.
- Ability to translate those root causes into business language for key stakeholders and clients.
- Ability to translate granular data into clear and compelling visualizations for stakeholders
- Experience performing advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling
- Driven to take action – we need someone who’s passionate about solving problems and finding new opportunities for our clients.
- Passion for learning – payments is a complex industry. It’s essential to demonstrate curiosity to develop the business acumen needed to thrive.
- Passion for collaboration – working closely with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translating data into actionable insights for them
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL is a must have
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency with Tableau is a plus
- Proficiency with ML IDEs is a plus
Responsibilities
- Support our senior financial data analyst on client ROI and cost savings assessments
- Take ownership of a portfolio of AI/ML initiatives
- Respond to client and stakeholder requests for detailed analyses on transaction performance. Interpret the results and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Responsible for proactive assessment of their performance trends
- Developing professional dashboards and detailed reports for client collaboration
- Providing active guidance to assist clients with actionable insights
