About The Position

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the U.S., is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Data Analyst to join our growing team! The Data Analyst will be responsible for converting data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. This person will conduct full lifecycle activities to include requirements analysis and design, develop analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. Additionally, develop technical solutions to business problems beginning with defining, analyzing, and documenting requirements. A successful SQL Data Analyst will leverage their database (SQL) proficiency as well as report design and project management experience with their excellent analytic abilities. To be successful, this person must have a PASSION FOR DATA and to unlock the story that it tells! Compensation: Competitive salary pay – paid weekly, every Friday! Salary range: $60,000- $70,000

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in:
  • MS SQL including Domo or PowerBIReport/Analytics design principles
  • Business data analysis, data quality, and data visualization
  • Creating execution plans and executing projects to completion
  • Identifying and implementing operational improvements
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Highly proficient in MS SQL, Powerpoint, Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills with a record of conducting FP&A type business analysis

Nice To Haves

  • Working in Agile is a plus
  • Experience with BI platforms and report building is a plus
  • Experience Python/R or other analytical language is a plus
  • Fleet experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of Government Operations is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis utilizing SQL, Excel, BI Platforms and other analytics tools to develop initiatives to improve profitability on accounts, improve operational performance, and financial analysis
  • Highly motivated to identify data quality issues, and to identify opportunities for automation between systems
  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop actionable performance metrics
  • Partner with the Analytics team
  • Ingest and review reporting from a variety of sources, determine what data is relevant to the business, and prepare and present a consolidated view.
  • Develop ongoing key performance metrics to drive efficiency and process improvement throughout the business
  • Engage with client analysts and project managers to move the program/partnership forward
  • Use data to help forecast the capital and number of capital assets needed to sustain and grow the business
  • Driving & supporting existing account growth through project management, analytics, associated tasks/projects, and implementation
  • Use data to support a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Use data & reporting to develop professional internal and external presentations. Strong Power Point experience preferred.
