About The Position
The Red Gate Group is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support enterprise data management, analysis, and integration initiatives for a federal intelligence community customer. This position plays a critical role in establishing end-to-end data management practices and ensuring data interoperability across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Master's Degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in data analysis or related field
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies
- Experience with enterprise data management and data governance practices
- Knowledge of metadata standards and data cataloging
- Experience developing business cases, impact assessments, and trade-off analyses
- Strong skills in data visualization and reporting
- Experience preparing executive-level briefings and reports
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting federal government or intelligence community customers
- Familiarity with Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE) data systems and standards
- Experience with sensor data integration and analysis
- Knowledge of IC data standards and interoperability requirements
- Experience with data brokering, discovery, access, and retrieval systems
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data analysis programming languages
- Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Understanding of DoD and IC data governance policies
Responsibilities
- Develop, share, and analyze a comprehensive array of data to support mission objectives and inform decision-making
- Establish and implement end-to-end data management practices and adopt foundational IC standards
- Foster interoperability across the IC data ecosystem
- Oversee incorporation of mission datasets into enterprise data catalogs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and usability
- Capture relevant metadata for improved data discovery and lineage tracking
- Prepare alternatives analyses, business cases, and impact assessments for Government review, incorporating technical and integration perspectives
- Perform cost, schedule, and performance trade-off analyses and provide recommendations for Government consideration
- Assess current Government customer relationship and experience programs via customer surveys, policy review, interviews, focus groups, and product reviews
- Consolidate stakeholder feedback and maintain program records for Government use
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, briefings, and data calls that provide program status, risk updates, and performance metrics to Government leadership
- Support the development and maintenance of program schedules, dashboards, and performance metrics
- Conduct business process analysis to identify opportunities for improved efficiency in enterprise service delivery
- Engage with stakeholders to gather user requirements, facilitate workshops, and foster collaboration, ensuring that feedback is integrated into project workflows and deliverables
