About The Position

The Red Gate Group is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support enterprise data management, analysis, and integration initiatives for a federal intelligence community customer. This position plays a critical role in establishing end-to-end data management practices and ensuring data interoperability across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Master's Degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in data analysis or related field
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies
  • Experience with enterprise data management and data governance practices
  • Knowledge of metadata standards and data cataloging
  • Experience developing business cases, impact assessments, and trade-off analyses
  • Strong skills in data visualization and reporting
  • Experience preparing executive-level briefings and reports
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting federal government or intelligence community customers
  • Familiarity with Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE) data systems and standards
  • Experience with sensor data integration and analysis
  • Knowledge of IC data standards and interoperability requirements
  • Experience with data brokering, discovery, access, and retrieval systems
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data analysis programming languages
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Understanding of DoD and IC data governance policies

Responsibilities

  • Develop, share, and analyze a comprehensive array of data to support mission objectives and inform decision-making
  • Establish and implement end-to-end data management practices and adopt foundational IC standards
  • Foster interoperability across the IC data ecosystem
  • Oversee incorporation of mission datasets into enterprise data catalogs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and usability
  • Capture relevant metadata for improved data discovery and lineage tracking
  • Prepare alternatives analyses, business cases, and impact assessments for Government review, incorporating technical and integration perspectives
  • Perform cost, schedule, and performance trade-off analyses and provide recommendations for Government consideration
  • Assess current Government customer relationship and experience programs via customer surveys, policy review, interviews, focus groups, and product reviews
  • Consolidate stakeholder feedback and maintain program records for Government use
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, briefings, and data calls that provide program status, risk updates, and performance metrics to Government leadership
  • Support the development and maintenance of program schedules, dashboards, and performance metrics
  • Conduct business process analysis to identify opportunities for improved efficiency in enterprise service delivery
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather user requirements, facilitate workshops, and foster collaboration, ensuring that feedback is integrated into project workflows and deliverables
