About The Position

Nakupuna Prime is looking for a Data Analyst to support a DoW Field Activity reporting to OUSW(R&E) at Ft. Belvoir. The ideal candidate is highly experienced in Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities
The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.
Identify trends and problems through complex big data analysis. Interpret results and draw conclusions from variety of sources using a variety of techniques, to include simple data aggregation, statistical analysis, and complex data mining.
Gather and analyze technical information from various sources and create EXCEL/ SQL queries to retrieve specific information and parameters from database(s).
Drive impact and value through the development and maintenance of dashboards.
Utilize programs such as SharePoint, Excel, Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate to analyze data, automate processes, and help the organization make informed decisions.
Transform data sets through quantitative and qualitative analysis into insights and compelling visuals that help inform decision making and improve the value of the enterprise.
Manipulate large data sets and use them to identify trends and reach meaningful conclusions to inform strategic business decisions.
Plan and document meetings, to include providing reports, briefing materials and tracking actions.
Use standard formats and guidelines to draft and prepare official documents and communications.

Requirements

• Strong quantitative ability and a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Strong background in and experience with data visualization and dashboard creation, to include experience with Power BI.
• Experience with SharePoint content management, web design, and programming languages such as Python, SQL, and R.
• Experience with Power Apps.
• Demonstrated experience compiling, organizing, and cleaning large datasets for input into dashboards or business intelligence tools. Experience with data mining and statistical analysis.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills. Must possess strong numerical and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated capabilities in researching, collecting, and synthesizing large and complex datasets or databases and a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Self-motivated and self-monitoring, exceptional oral and written communications, and ability to multi-task.
• Highly proficient in SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• This position requires a bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of demonstrable data analysis experience in the DoW.
• This position requires an active Secret security clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
• Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.
