The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex datasets to help the organization make informed business decisions. The candidate will work closely with various departments to gather data, perform detailed analysis, and generate comprehensive reports. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Gather and compile data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Maintain and update databases and data systems.
  • Perform detailed analysis on large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Use statistical techniques and software tools to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Develop and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Ensure that reports are easily understandable and provide clear recommendations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver insights that drive business decisions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data governance and best practices.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal policies.
  • Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information.
  • U.S Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • This position is remote but may require occasional onsite meetings in McLean, VA.
  • You can be based out of following states: AZ, DC, FL, GA, OH, ME, MD, SC, TX, UT, VA, NC, OK, WV.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • At least 4 years of experience in data analysis or a related role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software and tools, such as SQL, Python, R, or SAS.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods and techniques.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in a government contracting environment.
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques and tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and tools.
