As a Data Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in transforming business data into actionable insights by: Analyzing and interpreting data from multiple repositories to understand business performance and needs. Developing reports, dashboards, and analytics that provide clear insights for operations and decision-makers. Presenting complex data in simple, easy-to-understand terms that drive informed decisions. Collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business objectives. Supporting continuous improvement by identifying trends, opportunities, and innovative approaches to data use. We're looking for a detail-oriented, enthusiastic team player who embodies our company values and is committed to providing top-notch service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years direct experience with data analysis.
  • Programming experience in SQL, Python or R.
  • Ability to use SQL queries to obtain data required for analysis from the company’s systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills with advanced knowledge of the full MS Office Suite.
  • Consistency of applying accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail approaches.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Effectively prioritize assignments and handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to train and mentor team members.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or in a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, and analyze data to extract insights and develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support the actuarial function to facilitate informed decision-making across various business functions.
  • Conduct peer reviews of colleagues’ work in a safe and professional environment.
  • Document data sources, methodologies, processes, and analytical findings clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate on meeting presentations and materials as required.
  • Work closely with leadership teams to create data strategies that support data modeling.
