About The Position

The Insights & Analytics team at LTK is a core driver of how the company makes decisions. As a Data Analyst, you will support senior analysts and business leaders across Product, Finance, and Operations, helping them make better decisions through clear, actionable insights. You will write SQL, build dashboards, and run analyses that directly influence how we grow revenue, improve retention, and improve the experience for creators, brands, and shoppers across our three-sided marketplace.

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data science, or a similar quantitative role.
  • Proven track record of using data to support decision making and problem solving - from framing a question to delivering a recommendation.
  • Strong SQL skills and comfort working directly with large, complex datasets in a modern data warehouse environment.
  • Experience with BI / visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Hex, Wisdom, Tableau) to build intuitive dashboards and reports.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills for quick analysis and data validation.
  • Solid understanding of basic business and marketplace concepts (e.g., funnels, conversion, unit economics, revenue drivers) and interest in learning how LTK makes money.
  • Ability to connect data insights to concrete business outcomes and trade-offs, not just report numbers.
  • Comfort working through some ambiguity - asking clarifying questions, structuring your own work, and escalating for guidance when needed.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to translate technical analysis into simple, persuasive stories tailored to your audience.
  • Operates with ownership, curiosity, and high standards — you care about getting the details right while keeping an eye on impact.
  • Growth mindset: eager to learn from feedback, new tools, and more senior team members; comfortable iterating quickly.

  • Experience with Python, R, or similar tools for analysis or automation is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support analytics for specific product or business areas with clear linkage to outcomes such as revenue growth, retention, monetization, and cost efficiency.
  • Partner with senior analysts and stakeholders to frame questions, define success metrics, and translate business problems into analytical plans.
  • Prepare recurring performance views and ad hoc deep dives that highlight what is happening, why it’s happening, and what to do next.
  • Use data to make compelling, evidence-based recommendations that help leaders make confident decisions.
  • Write efficient, well-structured SQL to pull, transform, and validate data from our analytics warehouse.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and data visualizations (e.g., in Looker, Hex, Wisdom) that monitor key funnels, platform health, and business KPIs for different audiences.
  • Contribute to the definition and documentation of core metrics so they are consistently understood and trusted across LTK.
  • Analyze experiments and A/B tests, summarize results, and surface key learnings in a clear, narrative format for cross-functional partners.
  • Identify manual or repetitive reporting tasks and help automate them using SQL, BI tools, or light scripting, in partnership with senior team members.
  • Follow and help refine best practices for analytics workflows, dashboard design, and QA so that insights are reliable and reproducible.
  • Contribute to simple, scalable data products (e.g., core dashboards, standardized reports, metric definitions) that can be reused by stakeholders across the business.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis, summarize findings, and explore large or complex datasets — always validating outputs with sound judgment and checks.
  • Experiment with practical AI use cases (e.g., query generation, documentation, insight summarization) that improve efficiency without compromising trust or accuracy.
  • Work closely with Senior and Staff Data Analysts to develop your skills in problem framing, analytics craft, and stakeholder storytelling.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Finance partners, and Operators to understand their goals and help shape how they use data in decision-making.
  • Share learnings, document your work clearly, and contribute to a culture of curiosity, intellectual honesty, and continuous improvement across the team.
