About The Position

STV is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Digital Solutions Analytics division, supporting design and construction data analytics and integration initiatives within the AEC industry. This role is based at our client’s office in Orlando (preferred) or Pompano Beach, Florida and requires strong collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include: Transform project data into actionable insights through advanced analytics and visualization techniques. Develop comprehensive dashboards and reports using Power BI to communicate key performance metrics effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven opportunities and establish best practices. Automate data workflows using Python or R to improve efficiency in reporting and analytics. Maintain data integrity by identifying and resolving inconsistencies across project management information systems (PMIS). Support the integration of multiple data sources within PMIS platforms to create unified reporting solutions. Create visualizations that clearly communicate project performance to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Document analytical methodologies for knowledge transfer and reproducibility. Engage directly with clients to understand needs and respond effectively to impromptu reporting and analysis requests with minimal supervision. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence, preferably in project-driven environments. Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard design and interactive reporting. Strong experience with Python or R for data processing and automation. Working knowledge of SQL for querying and data manipulation. Experience with Project Management Information Systems (PMIS). Demonstrated ability to translate complex datasets into compelling narratives and present insights effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with experience handling large, multi-source datasets. Ability to work independently in a client-facing environment with minimal supervision. Preferred but not Required: Master’s or PhD in Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM field. Experience supporting transportation and/or infrastructure projects and programs. Knowledge of data governance and reporting compliance standards. Hands-on experience integrating multiple data sources into unified reporting solutions. Experience processing structured and unstructured data. Proficiency with Power BI Report Builder. Familiarity with geospatial analytics and mapping visualization techniques. Ability to train machine learning models to deliver predictive and prescriptive insight Compensation Range: $45,113.63 - $60,151.50 Don’t meet every single requirement? Requirements
