About The Position

The American Nurses Enterprise (ANE) is seeking to hire a Data Analyst. The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, interpreting, and reporting on data to drive business insights and strategy for our credentialing, training, education, membership, and research programs at the American Nurses Enterprise (ANE). Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, data science, or related quantitative field.
  • Three (3) years or more as a data analyst preferably in a healthcare or education setting.
  • Proficiency with coding languages R, Python and SQL for data analysis.
  • Proficient with data visualization tools PowerBI and Tableau.
  • Detailed understanding of data lifecycle.
  • Strong data modeling skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong data quality orientation.
  • Ability to translate complex data findings into actionable insights.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare industry experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and update an inventory of all data assets from across the enterprise.
  • Maintain data catalog in data governance applications.
  • Assist in the development of data policies and procedures and the creation of communication materials related to data and governance.
  • Work with key department users to identify use cases and business requirements for the development of data and analytics solutions.
  • Convert use cases into business, functional and technical requirements for a data and analytics solution.
  • Support selection, design and deployment of a cloud-based data and analytics solution.
  • Identify data flows between source systems and target.
  • Collect and integrate data from multiple sources including CRM systems, learning management systems, surveys, website analytics, etc. into data and analytics solutions.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on data using statistical methods and tools (R, Python, SQL, Excel, etc.)
  • Interpret trends and patterns in data sets and visualize findings using charts, graphs, and dashboards.
  • Generate regular reports and presentations summarizing analysis results and recommendations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Desing, build and maintain enterprise data visualizations.
  • Collaborate with Data Architect to develop and implement strategies for data quality, privacy, governance, and system integration.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automations, and optimizations using data.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technology, product, marketing, and operations teams.
  • Develop data visualizations using PowerBI and Tableau based on user requirements.
  • Develop data models based on user requirements and technical capabilities
  • Support the design and deployment of data governance.
  • Prepare materials for data governance council meetings.
