About The Position

ASSYST is seeking a skilled Data Analyst – Reporting to support our client in Austin, TX. This is a Hybrid - contract position. The ideal candidate will support data-driven decision making through advanced reporting, dashboard development, and data analysis. The role requires strong experience with BI tools and SQL-based analysis, along with the ability to work with large-scale datasets and deliver meaningful insights to business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data analysis or report development using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, Business Objects, QlikView, or similar.
• Strong SQL skills with experience querying relational databases.
• Experience designing and delivering business reports and dashboards.

Nice To Haves

• 4+ years of experience working with large-scale datasets in Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Snowflake, or similar database environments.
• 2+ years of experience working with Informatica ETL tools.
• 2+ years of experience developing dashboards and reports using Tableau.
• 2+ years of experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, Business Objects, QlikView, or similar platforms.
• Analyze complex datasets and translate data into actionable insights for business stakeholders.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from relational databases.
• Work with large-scale datasets stored in Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Snowflake, or similar data platforms.
• Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports and dashboards.
• Support data integration processes and assist with ETL workflows using Informatica or similar ETL tools.
• Document reporting processes, data sources, and dashboard logic.
