About The Position

Ambulatory Anesthesia Care (AAC) is a national leader in office-based anesthesia services. We partner with practices across the country to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centered care outside the hospital setting. As we continue to grow, we are investing in data, analytics, and operational excellence to support smarter, faster decision-making. We’re looking for a Data Analyst Intern to support key initiatives across revenue cycle operations, reporting, and analytics. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with real healthcare data — including billing, payer performance, and operational KPIs — while partnering directly with leadership on active financial and operational initiatives. Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills (able to translate data into insights)

Nice To Haves

Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools preferred
Basic knowledge of SQL is a plus

Responsibilities

Analyze revenue cycle, billing, and operational data across multiple markets
Build and maintain dashboards (Power BI or similar tools)
Support reporting on claims activity, payer performance, and reimbursement trends
Clean, validate, and organize datasets (Excel, CSV, internal systems)
Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities within revenue cycle performance
Support key initiatives (e.g., RN billing pilots, payer analysis, operational reporting)
Partner cross-functionally with revenue cycle, credentialing, and operations teams
Assist with ad hoc reporting and analytics projects
