About The Position

The UCF Center for Community Schools in the College of Community Innovation and Education at the University of Central Florida is a practice-based organization that provides community school technical assistance, university-assisted partnerships, training and development, and assessment and evaluation. The Opportunity: The Data Analyst II for the Unlimited Potential Initiative (UPI) plays a critical role in supporting the implementation, integrity, and continuous improvement of data systems across participating regions. Working closely with the UPI Assistant Director, UPI staff, and university and district partners, this position provides training, coaching, guidance, and technical support to ensure high-quality data collection, reporting, and system utilization. The Data Analyst II will lead routine data check-ins and provide hands-on support to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness of data across all sites. Additionally, they will support and work collaboratively with partners and ensure the Unlimited Potential initiative has the necessary infrastructure to have impact and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).
  • All applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position, and the university cannot accommodate H‑1B transfers or employment-based visa processing for individuals currently sponsored by another employer.
  • Position requires a valid Class E driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools, as well as data management platforms (e.g. Excel, Sql, Tableau/Power BI, Airtable, Salesforce, or similar systems).
  • Experience working with educational settings, staff, and education and/or grant-funded program data, including supporting partners in understanding, interpreting, and using data for decision-making.
  • Experience with speaking, presenting, and facilitating training for large groups, classrooms, or professional audiences.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g. FERPA), data quality best practices, and support for program evaluation or multi-site initiatives.
  • Master's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing coaching, technical assistance, and develop and deliver training materials to university and district partners on data collection processes, data quality, and reporting expectations.
  • Support the implementation and effective use of data systems across UPI regions in the designated data management system (e.g., Learning Circle or interim systems).
  • Conduct routine data check-ins to monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure data completeness and accuracy; validate and review submitted data to ensure alignment with initiative requirements and reporting standards.
  • Analyze data across sites to identify gaps in participation tracking, inconsistencies in data entry, trends in implementation, and emerging outcomes/impact; work directly with university and district partners to troubleshoot data-related issues and strengthen data quality and use.
  • Collaborate with UPI leadership, staff, and partners to refine data collection tools, processes, and protocols, and support the use of data for continuous improvement, outcome monitoring, and data-informed decision-making across the initiative.
  • Other duties as assigned.
