About The Position

The full-time Junior Data Analyst will support Foss Swim School’s Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function by assisting with demand forecasting, supply management, payroll optimization, budgeting, financial modeling, and operational reporting. Partnering closely with Field Operations and the Sr. Manager of FP&A, this role will respond to daily business needs, help implement operational improvements, and identify opportunities to increase efficiency in support of organizational goals. Founded in 1993 on the belief that anyone can learn to swim well, Foss Swim School is a premier swim school with 33+ locations across the Midwest and Colorado and is poised for continued growth. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (including in progress) in accounting, finance, statistics, or another applicable quantitative program.
  • Travel as required by business needs.
  • Comfortable with learning new computer technologies and programs
  • Strong analytical and research skills with ability to use data to drive decision making.
  • Ability to present complex data clearly and accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving, process development skills with an analytical mindset.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated experience with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to utilize MS Office suite with advanced knowledge and experience using Excel functions or other similar tools.
  • Intermediate or advanced knowledge and experience using Excel functions or other similar tools.
  • Working knowledge of data analytics tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of revenue forecasting models and financial reporting.
  • Create, analyze, and optimize field operating hours, class schedules, and live enrollment offerings.
  • Manage data uploads and integrations between internal scheduling tools and enterprise systems.
  • Partner with field teams to implement and adjust scheduling changes.
  • Analyze and report on payroll performance, headcount, and turnover; collaborate with field teams to drive optimization.
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualizations.
  • Assist with revenue and payroll budgeting for field operations.
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests; perform other duties as assigned.
