About The Position

Transforms donor and demographic data into clear, actionable insights that guide fundraising strategy. This role helps development staff and leadership identify and prioritize potential funding sources, builds and maintains a strong donor pipeline for cultivation, and provides leadership with meaningful metrics on fundraising performance and staff engagement with data tools to ensure strategic goals are met. Requirements

  • Bachelors in data science, business analytics, or related field (required)
  • 3+ years of experience in complex data management or a closely related field. (required)

Responsibilities

  • Collects and analyzes donor and constituent data, translating findings into clear insights and reports that guide strategic decision-making and fundraising priorities.
  • Designs, manages, and maintains fundraising databases and information systems, ensuring accurate, up-to-date donor and prospect records using data from screenings, contact reports, public sources, and internal knowledge.
  • Implements and oversees the prospect management system to identify, track, and sustain a strong donor pipeline.
  • Builds and maintains dashboards and reports (Raiser’s Edge, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, etc.) to monitor fundraising performance, donor retention, campaign ROI, and other KPIs.
  • Collaborates with research, events, communications, and development teams to deliver tailored data solutions, streamline reporting, and improve workflows.
  • Trains staff in the effective use of data tools and dashboards; develops user guides, process documentation, and data governance standards.
  • Ensures the confidentiality, accuracy, and ethical handling of sensitive donor and constituent information.
