Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Partnership & Analytical Leadership: Serve as a strategic thought partner to senior business and operational leaders by translating loosely defined business challenges into structured analytical frameworks that drive measurable outcomes. This role requires the ability to clarify objectives, define meaningful success metrics, and ensure analytical efforts align directly with business impact. The Senior Analyst will proactively surface risks, performance gaps, and growth opportunities within complex datasets, moving beyond descriptive reporting to diagnostic and comparative insight generation. Success in this area requires rigor, comfort challenging assumptions, and the ability to influence decision-making through clear, data-backed reasoning rather than simply fulfilling report requests.
  • Enterprise Reporting Architecture & Dashboard Development: Design, build, and continuously refine executive and operational-level dashboards that align with strategic priorities and enable consistent, data-driven decisions. Reporting solutions must be scalable, well-documented, and grounded in standardized metric definitions to prevent fragmentation or conflicting interpretations. This role is responsible not only for visualization development but also for ensuring performance optimization, usability, and long-term maintainability of reporting assets. The Senior Analyst will balance flexibility and governance, creating solutions that support evolving business needs while protecting metric integrity and enterprise consistency.
  • Metric Governance & Semantic Layer Development: Contribute meaningfully to the development and evolution of a governed semantic layer that serves as the organization’s single source of truth. The Senior Analyst will contribute to documentation of definitions, validation rules, and reporting standards while championing a culture of accountability around metric consistency and data reliability. Experience operating within formal or evolving data governance frameworks is highly valued.
  • KPI Development & Performance Measurement: Design and refine KPIs that accurately reflect operational and financial performance drivers while aligning with strategic objectives. This includes evaluating existing metrics for relevance and clarity, leading discussions around tradeoffs and interpretation, and ensuring performance indicators are both actionable and measurable. The Senior Analyst will maintain scorecards and dashboards that enable benchmarking, trend analysis, and performance monitoring, ensuring analytics remain directly connected to business outcomes rather than isolated data points.
  • Advanced & Comparative Analysis: Conduct benchmark, comparative, and trend analysis that provide deeper insight into performance dynamics across business segments. Where appropriate, leverage advanced analytical techniques and tools such as R or Python to support exploratory or diagnostic analysis. The Senior Analyst must be able to translate complex findings into clear, executive-ready narratives supported by effective visualizations.
