About The Position

This position supports the Army National Guard Strength Maintenance Division (ARNG-HRR) by enhancing analytical and reporting capabilities to aid recruiting and retention efforts across all 54 States and Territories. This role involves managing organizational vacancy data, providing system support for Automated Unit Vacancy System (AUVS) and REQUEST platforms, conducting regional training, and ensuring accurate integration with evolving systems such as IPPS-A and AIE. Responsibilities include troubleshooting system errors, validating data accuracy, generating vacancy and MOS reports, and delivering actionable insights to leadership for effective strength management.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Army National Guard recruiting and retention processes.
  • Experience with Automated Unit Vacancy System (AUVS) and REQUEST systems.
  • Ability to analyze Unit Manning Reports (UMR) and manage vacancy data.
  • Familiarity with IPPS-A and AIE systems integration and transition processes.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting system errors and resolving data discrepancies.
  • Skilled in creating and maintaining detailed reports using multiple databases.
  • Excellent communication skills for providing regional training and user support.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate, timely data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
