About The Position

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is now accepting applications for its Summer 2026 Intern Program. This exciting opportunity offers a paid, 10-week experience for selected UNDERGRAD OR GRAD (based on HM request) students. The program will run from June 1 to August 7. Eligible students will be seniors or recent graduates, possess U.S. work authorization, and be able to work full-time on a 5-day-per-week on-site schedule. Additionally, participation in this program requires that you be located in the United States for the duration of the engagement. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is encouraged. The application window is open until March 15, 2026; however, it may close earlier if all available roles are filled. About the Team The Systems and Support team drives efficiency and innovation in network management. We are a collaborative and dynamic team passionate about harnessing data-driven insights to optimize network performance and customer experience. We maintain multiple systems, including ticket management, to ensure seamless network operations.
As a Data Analyst Intern, you will work on high-impact projects, including:

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree
• Preferred academic fields of study: Computer Science, Data Engineering, Business Analytics or any related Engineering field.
• Rising Seniors or Recent Grads strongly preferred.
• Experience with Data Analysis.
• Python is strongly preferred.
• Ability to create Dashboards and Reports.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL/NoSQL databases, Unix OS, and Bash scripting.
• Experience building Agentic AI solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Python, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Passion for data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with leadership ability to guide teams and drive projects to a successful outcome.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Fosters onsite collaboration.

Nice To Haves

• Experience building ETLs (Extract, Transform, Load).
• Good knowledge of systems and tickets.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing network data to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
• Create ETL's using python/SQL.
• Developing reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics.
• Supporting the Agentic AI System, our AI-driven network troubleshooting solution.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex network challenges.
• Contributing to the maintenance and improvement of our ticket management and other operational systems.
• Gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge data analytics tools and technologies.
