Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in network and computer systems administration.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Omnissa or Horizon VDI solutions.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • TS/SCI (#tssci)
  • Can start with a TS (#topsecret)

Nice To Haves

  • ITIL v4 certification.
  • In-depth experience with SDWAN, virtualized networks, and DAN/NSX environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of routing and switching infrastructure in high-security or DoD environments.
  • Experience supporting Data Center and COOP network operations.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for network and VDI environments.
  • Experience with VLAN and VPN configuration, management, and security.
  • Familiarity with network modeling, analysis, and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full lifecycle support for DAN infrastructures, including installation, tuning, testing, operation, management, monitoring, upgrading, patching, and break/fix activities for routing and switching hardware and software.
  • Support TOR (Top of Rack)/SDWAN and virtualized network environments at Data Center (DC) and Continuity of Operations (COOP) locations.
  • Configure, operate, maintain, defend, and troubleshoot network capabilities, including point-to-point circuits, dedicated Internet connections, and broadband Internet connections.
  • Follow established standards, processes, and policies in all network administration tasks.
  • Assist with network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
  • Supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists as needed.
  • Configure, maintain, defend, and troubleshoot Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) architectures for USSTRATCOM.
  • Provision, operate, manage, and monitor Virtual Private Network (VPN) services to securely connect remote elements and mission partners over shared public IP networks.
  • Perform shift work to provide continuous 7x24 coverage and cybersecurity support.
