Described below are the major duties and responsibilities of a Dairy Manager: Sells and stocks dairy food items, receives, stores, stocks and merchandises dairy products, creates and builds promotional displays and endcaps, orders product, assists customers in locating merchandise and engages in suggestive selling, rotates product and ensures code date compliance, communicates with customers, associates and management in a polite and professional manner, cleans work areas as needed, supervises department to insure that sales goals, gross profit percent goals and distribution goals are met.
