About The Position

The Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living (DAIL)is seeking a skilled Data and Program Policy Manager to oversee data and program policy activities at a professional level. This role involves managing projects to ensure timely completion within budget, coordinating meetings, resources, and information, and maintaining smooth project workflows. The Data and Program Policy Manager’s responsibilities, including data analysis, reporting and logistics.

Requirements

  • A degree or certification in project management, data analysis, healthcare or business administration or a related field, and three (3) or more years of experience in a health, mental health, welfare or social services related field AND one (1) or more years of supervisory experience in any field.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in a health, mental health, welfare or social services related field AND one (1) or more years of supervisory experience in any field.
  • Candidates must pass any level of background investigation applicable to the position. In accordance with AHS Policy 4.02, Hiring Standards, Vermont and/or national criminal record checks, as well as DMV and adult and child abuse registry checks, as appropriate to the position under recruitment, will be conducted on candidates, with the exception of those who are current classified state employees seeking transfer, promotion or demotion into an AHS classified position or are persons exercising re-employment (RIF) rights.

Responsibilities

  • Control workflow and evaluate project progress.
  • Report project status to Leadership and partners.
  • Conduct data analysis and manage logistics.
  • Collaborate with DAIL leadership team, other state agencies, and community partners.
