About The Position

Full-Time DA2 – Expanded General Dentistry Location: Burlington, NC Schedule: Full-Time, Mondays-Thursdays Compensation: Competitive; based on experience and expanded skills Join a High-Performance Clinical Team Riccobene Associates is seeking a highly experienced DA2 (Dental Assistant II) to join our Burlington office full-time. This role is ideal for a skilled assistant who thrives in advanced general dentistry and surgical procedures and takes pride in operating at the top of their scope. Our Burlington team performs comprehensive dentistry including implant placements, surgical extractions, molar endodontics, IV sedation cases, and complex restorative procedures. We are looking for a confident, clinically strong DA2 who can anticipate doctor needs, maintain surgical efficiency, and elevate the patient experience. What You’ll Do Assist chairside during: Implant placements and restorations Surgical and impacted extractions Molar endodontics IV sedation procedures Complex restorative and crown/bridge cases Maintain a highly efficient clinical flow during surgical and sedation procedures Anticipate provider needs and proactively manage instrumentation Prepare and break down operatories according to procedural requirements Take and process high-quality radiographs Complete accurate charting and documentation Sedation & Surgical Support Ensure proper surgical tray setup and sterile technique Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols Prepare and organize implant systems and surgical materials Patient Communication & Education Professionally present and reinforce treatment plans Provide pre- and post-operative instructions with clarity and confidence Support patient comfort, especially in surgical and sedation cases Assist with scheduling complex procedures appropriately Operational Excellence Maintain inventory of surgical and implant supplies Monitor equipment maintenance and sterilization protocols Assist in confirming appointments and addressing patient questions Escalate clinical or patient concerns to leadership when appropriate Why Burlington? Requirements

  • DA2 certification or experience
  • NC X-ray certification
  • CPR certification
  • Strong experience in expanded general dentistry procedures
  • Proven experience assisting with implants, surgical extractions, molar endo, and IV sedation

  • 3–5+ years of clinical assisting experience in a high-volume or surgical-focused practice
  • Experience with implant systems and surgical instrumentation management
