About The Position

Part-Time DA2 – Dental Assistant Location: Mebane, NC Schedule: Part-Time | Thursdays-Fridays Join a Team That Values Clinical Excellence and Teamwork! Riccobene Associates is seeking an experienced DA2 (Dental Assistant II) to join our Mebane office. We are looking for someone who is confident chairside, proactive in patient communication, and comfortable supporting both clinical and operational excellence within the practice. What You’ll Do: As a DA2, you will play a critical role in delivering efficient, high-quality care. Responsibilities include: Clinical Support Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for scheduled procedures Pass instruments and maintain efficient chairside workflow Complete accurate dental charting Take and process dental radiographs (X-ray certified required) Collect and document patient health histories Support patient comfort and management during procedures Patient Communication & Coordination Present and explain treatment plans and insurance information professionally Function as a treatment coordinator when needed Confirm appointments and assist with scheduling to reduce barriers to care Escalate patient or operational concerns to the Office Manager appropriately Sterilization & Compliance Perform instrument cleaning, sterilization, and operatory turnover Maintain infection control standards at all times Ensure operatories are prepared and stocked for upcoming procedures Operational Support Monitor and manage inventory supplies Maintain equipment and materials Assist with additional duties as assigned Travel to nearby locations if needed (with a positive, team-first mindset) What We’re Looking For DA2 certification or experience NC X-ray certification CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days) 3–5 years of dental assisting experience preferred Strong understanding of dental procedures and clinical flow You’ll Succeed Here If You: Have a positive, solutions-oriented attitude Are dependable with consistent attendance Demonstrate strong attention to detail Communicate clearly with patients and team members Exercise sound judgment and independent thinking Adapt well to schedule changes and business needs Maintain strict patient confidentiality Work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team Why Join Our Mebane Team? Requirements

  • DA2 certification or experience
  • NC X-ray certification
